Building a Greener, Healthier Future
Our Climate Resilience Initiative focuses on protecting and restoring the environment in and
around Ombeyi. We believe that community action is key to tackling the challenges of
climate change — from rising temperatures to unpredictable rainfall patterns
that affect our farms, health, and livelihoods.
Through this initiative, United Hope brings people together to
promote sustainable practices, raise awareness, and take hands-on action to protect
the environment for future generations.
One of our key activities has been the cleaning of Ombeyi Market — a major hub of daily life. Volunteers gathered to remove waste, promote proper waste disposal, and educate traders and residents about keeping the environment clean. These efforts not only improve public health but also restore dignity to shared community spaces.
Our vision is a community that thrives in harmony with nature — where every person understands their role in protecting the environment. By investing in clean spaces, sustainable practices, and environmental education, we’re helping the community become more resilient to climate challenges.
