About

United Hope Children's Family is a residential care facility under the livelihood program of United Hope International. Established to provide a nurturing home for vulnerable and orphaned children, UHCF has been a beacon of hope since its inception in 2008.

Our home provides a safe, loving environment where children can heal, grow, and develop their full potential. We believe every child deserves a family, quality education, proper nutrition, healthcare, and the opportunity to dream of a brighter future.

Building Hope, One Brick at a Time

From humble beginnings to a place of safety, warmth, and belonging, each building at United Hope International tells a story of growth, faith, and God’s provision. These spaces aren’t just walls and roofs; they’re where dreams are nurtured and lives are transformed.

Old Dormitory

The old dormitory was home to just seven children. Though it gave shelter, it was far from ideal, cold during the nights, cramped, and with iron sheet walls and leaking roofs. The space offered little comfort or privacy, and it struggled to keep the children safe, especially during harsh weather. It became clear that a better, more secure home was needed for the growing family of United Hope.

New Dormitory

The new dormitory stands as a beautiful answer to prayer. Spacious, safe, and warm, it provides every child with a comfortable bed, proper lighting, and good ventilation. Built with care and love, it offers not just shelter but a true sense of home. Here, the children sleep soundly, study freely, and grow surrounded by comfort and dignity. It’s a place filled with laughter, stories, and the feeling of belonging.

Old Kitchen

The old kitchen was small and poorly equipped, with limited space and little ventilation. Cooking was often difficult, especially during rainy days when smoke filled the room and the floor turned muddy. Cleanliness was hard to maintain, and with no dining hall, the children often had their meals outside, under trees or in the open. A new, safe, and functional space was desperately needed.

New Dining Hall & Kitchen

The new kitchen and dining hall have completely transformed daily life at United Hope. Clean, spacious, and well-ventilated, the kitchen now allows meals to be prepared safely and efficiently. The adjoining dining hall provides a warm, welcoming space where everyone can sit together, share food, and enjoy fellowship. It’s more than a building, it’s a place of joy, community, and gratitude, where every meal feels like a family gathering.

Education: Building Futures

Education is the cornerstone of our program at UHCF. We believe that every child has the right to quality education that will open doors to a brighter future.

All children in our care attend local schools where they receive formal education alongside their peers. We provide school uniforms, textbooks, supplies, and cover tuition fees to ensure no barrier stands between our children and their education.

Beyond formal schooling, we offer homework assistance, tutoring for struggling students, and enrichment programs to help each child reach their academic potential. Our commitment is to see every child graduate and pursue further education or vocational training.

Daily Life & Routine

Structure and routine provide children with the stability they need to thrive. Each day at UHCF is thoughtfully organized to balance education, recreation, chores, and family time.

Mornings begin with breakfast together as a family, followed by preparation for school. After school, children return home for lunch, homework time, and afternoon activities. Evenings are for dinner, devotions, and relaxation before bedtime.

Weekends bring special activities, church services, sports, games, community outings, and celebrations. We maintain a balance between discipline and freedom, ensuring children learn responsibility while enjoying their childhood.
